Initially minted on the the Polygon Network to solve two important technical problems for the KIZ Punks project: scaling issues and high gas fees. The Polygon Network (part of the Ethereum Blockchain) was a perfect fit for the KIZ Punks NFT collection, enabling gas-free minting for KIZ Punks NFTs and an infrastructure capable of managing many thousands of transactions, efficiently and securely.
Since those early listings, the KIZ Punks NFT collection has also now branched onto the Tezos Blockchain, to widen access, and attract new collectors. Early sales of KIZ Punks funded this branch, and this pattern may be repeated in the future, demonstrating utility for owners.
As such, the KIZ Punks NFT collection is now truly multi-blockchain - one of the few NFT Punk collections that can claim this!

Each KIZ Punk was randomly generated (using artifical intelligence) from 8 traits, including background, accessories, eyes and mouth. Each trait has multiple possibilities. Not all traits are present in all KIZ Punks. The original design was created from scratch by the KIZ Punk team.
